About the partner
Canco Park is a great open green space venue for community programming. Our mission in strongly based in education, restoration and conservation of open public green space while encouraging healthful living. Our recognized butterflypollinator garden & wildlife habitat restoration efforts supplement educational opportunities. Our org holds crtifications from the Audubon Society, MonarchWatch.org, National Wildlife Federation the North Amer Butterfly Assoc.
Perspective on Health Equity
Its our belief that providing park goers with a visceral experience in a natural environment fosters empathy, inclusivity and respect for each other and the natural world furthering improvement in the health and welfare of all visitors. We will continue to develop programs that support and promote increased green space, trees, natural habitats, chemical free environments and healthful, low stress, natural living throughout the city.
